Japanese Pop-Culture Does it Again

Full-size image
Anime Cosmetics, or cosmetics such as pupil-augmenting contact-lenses that make wearers appear to have larger eyes and more closely resemble people the way Japanese manga depicts them.

Please observe these before and after photos:

Whoa! And that's with the physically narrower Asian eyes. Just imagine how this would make eyes look like on Americans! Can you say: WTF?

There's other things too, like regular make-up that has exaggerated coloring, or tastes like sugary food items. I swear if this takes off in the states, it will be either very neat, or very scarry. I have a feeling the later assessment is more probable than the first.

I really don't know wether I should be amused or terrified of this.

New Parody Website and Music

Inspired by this
I made yet another parody website here.

And I updated the song, "Suckitude" so now it is better mixed and shorter.
And I uploaded another song, "Erotitron":
both can be found: here.

Preventing Hardware Disaster

I know, this is more of a subject matter for the Technicide blog, but I felt the need to post it here, because this is something I'm going to do. I have had flake-tacular power supplies blow out one too many computer mainboards. I'm tired of having to replace that part every two years because power supplies keep trashing it. So I'm going to put together an active, switching voltage monitor that will protect my computer and isolate any flake outs to the power-supply alone. It's much easier to spend $30 every 2 years to replace a power-supply than it is to spend $150 every 2 years to replace a mainboard.

ALSO:
I've fixed that one song "Suckitude" so it is not as long at the beginning and the lyrics are more audible. I will upload it tomorrow.
and I am totally digging LCD Soundsystem right now.
It has been the most natural style to emulate other than vintage space music.

Yay Music

I made a new song.
It has words, and lyrics and a chorus and stuff.
It is the most conventional song I've made (by that structure)I warn you, it is very (VERY) LCD-Soundsystem-esque.The influence is overpoweringly obvious (from my persepctive, at least)It is called "Suckitude"Go here and check it out:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/drkrnmusic.htm

It is about rural America, and as you may have gleaned from the title of the song. It is does not paint a very favorable picture of it. More specifically, it's about how much I really, really don't like Murphy's taste in stuff, and how new-pop-country music makes me quesey for some unknown reason.

And yes, I'm a terrible poet, an even worse lyricist (songwritter) and even more vastly terrible singer (Muical spoken-word speaker, in this case)

This page only works in IE

I'm serious. Do not look at this page in anything but IE. I mean it.
Last night, I saw this page in firefox and it doesn't even resemble my page.
DO NOT LOOK AT THIS PAGE IN FIREFOX,
Or else it will look really, really bad.
The way my page looks in anything but Explorer is an embarassment,
I can only wish there was a way to fix it, but alas I do not have the resources
to preview my page in Firefox on these library computers, which are my only form of
computer or internet access at this time. The library computers do not have firefox, or mozilla.
I am not kidding, if you look at this page in anything but Internet Explorer, you are not looking at my page, you are looking at a scrambled-up, completely fucked up mess of elements taken from my page and shoddily adhered to one an other my misinterpreted and outright ignored CSS.

They need a command in CSS to get around this.

#broswer {
implore: you to read this correctly
otherwise: die and go to hell
you: piece of shit

Deployment

Deployment... Complete
My blog is now functional and stable.
After hours intense CSSificationizing,
it is finally to a point where everything works and looks descent.
huzzah!

[From Earlier Today]
---------------
At last my new blog is here. I have just finished making my CSS barely operable. I know it still has numerous problems, but that's because I'm still working on it.

In fact, it had so many problems, it is hardly even usable. It is a miracle you can even see this coherently.
