And I really don't like philosophy class. Philosophy is fine, in fact, it's interesting. But the class is less so. The professor isn't as bad as the one I had for intro last year, who basically handed out assignments that had *nothing* to do with the readings or lectures not all that unlike the one in the comic. He did this just so he could write:
"YOU ARE WRONG, YOU WEAK, FEEBLE-MINDED, SUCKBREEDING SIMPLETON. I COULD CRUSH YOU IN THE MIGHTY TALONS OF MY BRAIN, BUT I WILL SPARE YOUR INSIGNIFICANT SOULS AND NOT OVERPOWER YOUR PRECAMBRIAN GANGLIA FROM WHICH YOU HAVE SUCRETED THIS FESTERING, PUTRID RESPONSE TO MY MOST SIMPLIFIED OF ASSIGNMENTS."

There are some who probably would write that on a paper too.

On an unrelated note: I want to get/make a keyboard WITH NO CAPS LOCK KEY, because it only gets in the way so it accidDENTALLy gets PRESSed in tHE MIDDLe of WHatevER yOu'RE TYPIng... It is utterly useless.

I read via Warren Ellis THIS which I found depressing. Maybe it's because I've been trying to prove to some people that peak oil is real and deserves our attention on an anime forum. It's a good thing there is a chemical engineering major (or something like that) there to back me up. I hate arguing. At the same time, I've been in a heated argument about industrial design (with the same people) which I think I may have just lost. (stupid [thing from one sci-fi series] versus [thing from other scifi series] arguments. They bring out the worst.

As well as National Bomb/Weapon Threat Day, Hitler's Birthday, Anniversary of Columbine, National Cheat at Pokemon Day and National Satanism Awareness Day.

I think it's also National High-Five Day (No idea why)

Bastille day is funner though. Totally.
