Things and, um STUFF

Bit-torrent is fun, but slow as ass.

I made a new song:
it's a first version (without extensive sampling) go here and check it out
The title is: Domestic Forces
(because it sounds like first-person shooter soundtrack music)

I will be living in Aggie Village Apartments next semester.
Which has fast, good internet, Cable TV, above-ground windows and no dogs.

I am fucking psyched, I think.

I want to fill a Wal-Mart with Pickle Relish for selling futons for so cheap

and I've overclocked my computer by 600Mhz (and it's running at the same temperature as it would normally)

oh, and now for shock value:
The Japanese anime tv series: Chaotic Century (Zoids Shenseiki Zero) has the sexiest
mechs ever...

and now to embellish the shock value to absurdity:
I would so totally put up with having sex with an animated character if it meant I could have a gang bang with one of the polyester-clad women from the show inside the Gustav(tm) and with Zeke(tm), the androgenous mechanical raptor.

giggity. giggity. giggity.

Old Flash Madness

So here are links to the majority of things from the all-too-short-lived 'animutation' movement in flash animation back in 2000-2002.

These are among what I consider the most timeless and best pieces from that movement.
The taking of Japanese songs and mis-interpreting them into english phrases which make no sense accompanied by spastic, low-grade yet highly satirical graphics.

Hyakugojyuuichi (The original thing that started this particular generation of flash animation)
-The Hyakugojyuuichi Tribute (It has humorous moments, but the rap and incessant, inside-joke easter-egging sucks balls)

Dash!
(One of the funniest mis-literations of a Japanese song I've ever seen or heard.

Yatta! (The pinnacle of the movement. This is the finest piece the animutation flash movement created. It is also among the last)
-The Yatta website, with links to everything Yatta, including MP3s of the song, a remix, a karaoke version and a link to VeryLowSodium's fine flash animation.

I personally beleive that while Niel Cicierga's Hyakugo' was influential, by far the best amateur flash animator of this short-lived fad by far was VeryLowSodium. That's because most of his humor was more widely appealing. Before his work, most stuff like this relied heavily upon stupid inside jokes and the kind of masteurbatory self-credentializing that you will see in 'Hyakugojyuuichi Forever!'. Where very little actually makes sense to people outside of that particular individual's circle of friends.

My conclusion:
Most American Rap sucks, because of it's egregious lack of respectability and modesty.
And VeryLowSodium was better than Cicierga.

Picturidades

I have this little JL2005A-chip-based digital camera, which is basically a digital pinhole camera.
It has resolution of not enough by not enough pixels and requires huge amounts of light to operate.

here are some kee-razy pictures I took with it a few minutes ago. Matt would like two of them.

What The Fuck

This terrorism thing is getting really old.

Oddly enough todays attacks on the london mass-transit system coincide with the first day of G-8 talks in London.
A day that was supposed to be for discussing poverty, Africa and the environment.
So the terrorists, who probably knew of these details, as well as the fact that the subways were occupied by civilians chose today to attack for these reasons, I'd imagine. Even though I'm sure they will say "We did it for Iraq."

Fuck Iraq.

They just wanted to get attention and distract people once again from living.
As well as kill some folks.

My tolerance for religion has dropped another ten points.
I don't care what their 'holy book' says about it being okay to blow people up.
What kind of fucked-up stupid, crazy assholes don't revise this out of their book?

Iraq? What a waste
We should have invaded Saudi Arabia and steam-rolled their precious black box and that stupid rock inside too. Fuck holiness, fuck the spirituality: If people belive in a God who says it's okay to kill, then these people's beliefs are wrong. All of it. Wrong.

We should have let the Soviets wipe that religion off the face of the Earth when they had the chance.
We really should have let it happen. I mean, really.

This is what we get for saving a religion that simply doesn't value human life at all.

And no, under no circumstances is some imaginary entity ever more important than the very real, and incredible human tragedy of poverty in Africa or the impending issue of the environment or economics.

What the fuck?

I win

I have a job and met some of the most frighteningly normal people there.
Oh, and I don't have to work on weekends if I don't feel like it and I don't have to smile and push sales on people.

Me: 2
Bush Economy:0

Oh and now that I have internet back, I can do things like check email and post here and stuff.
This seems like an interesting time to switch the subject of discussion to the reletive size of one's porn folder.
I know people who claim to have a few gigabytes, mine is only 73 megabytes...

Ok, enough of that. You know what's funny? 94.1, a Spanish language radio station plays cooler music than all of the other clear-channel shit-pusher stations. AND THEY PLAY TECHNO! like club and stuff. Holy shit.

Oh, and right now I'm running Matt's old Pentium 4 (Northwood core) with PC133 RAM!!! NOT DDR!!!. OMFG.
did you know that you can overclock a 1.8 Ghz P4 (Northwood) to 2.4 Ghz without a significant increase in heat output? Nor would such an increase in clock speed require a voltage adjustment. But, it makes the processor just a little bit less stable.
HOW COOL IS THAT?

Oh, and Matt's new case (which I selected for it's unparalleled style and cooling properties) is way cooler than anybody else's I know.

Somehow, even cooler (in both ways) than mine

Which is why I'm either going to repaint mine, or buy another case like the one that Matt has. Because this is just the single coolest looking case ever made. Ever. And it has better cooling than any case ever made. Ever.

I'm writting a story about some people taking a trip from Arkansas to the Pacific Northwest. It has fundamentalist hicks, angsty atheism, bewildering pranks and a robot dinosaur! I don't know when I'll be done with it. Or even why I'm making it. I figured I would ball up all of the spontaneus anger toward the fundamentalist hicks, by applying to their establishment, bewildering pranks performed by angsty atheists as they travel across America on their robot dinosaur.

Yes, I am aware that I have many pictures of the last mentioned item in that particular folder I was discussing earlier in this post.
My reasoning behind this is simple: If I were to travel across America on a large computer-controlled and presumably self-aware mechanical device, it would be a robot dinosaur.

Hey, some people hang those dumb chrome testicles off the reciever hitches of their trucks to manifest their supposed masculinity or sexual prowess upon their vehicle in a way visible to anyone who happens to be unlucky enough to be behind them.
(No, seriously: I'm not kidding.)

At least mine has some class and is less, um, pornographic (in the traditional sense). I mean, really: Balls on a truck? What the fuck!
